I’m C. Aparnaa, an ardent and observant urban designer who has a keen interest in comprehending everyday acts of occupation in city spaces.

I firmly believe that the quality of the public realm determines the character of the city, for which I believe the foremost step is to understand the interdependencies between the users and the context. I have dealt extensively with comprehending everyday acts of occupation (of varying time and spatial scales) in public and de facto public spaces like vacant lands, public spaces and streets, and in designing to facilitate their prevalence. I also endeavour to comprehend how literature and different mediums of representation can guide analysis and design.
