Everyday Skies

There's a yearning to be with the ones we love even more now with the pandemic, but we're all stuck in our corners as a safety precaution, with the same set of everyday views. What changes everyday is the sky and that reminds me of one of the most beautiful quotes by Ruskin Bond "...for everytime I see the sky I'm aware of belonging to the universe than to just one corner of the Earth." And that instills hope, and a sense of belonging with each other some way or the other.

Painting and capturing photographs from my corner has been an outlet for my feelings these days, and these photos are an ode to being hopeful, a prayer that we all will find the strength to cope. It's a hope that these skies are symbolic of the fact that times will also change and for the better. Till then, check in with everyone you love and take care of yourself as well.
